One Night. One of Country Music’s Most Authentic Voices.

The Crawford County Fair is proud to welcome multi-Platinum recording artist Joe Nichols to the grandstand stage for a headline performance during Fair Week 2026.

With six No. 1 singles, ten Top 10 hits, more than 2.3 billion cumulative audio streams, and over 8 million RIAA-certified units sold in the U.S., Nichols has spent more than two decades as one of Nashville’s most honest and versatile voices. Billboard ranks him among the Top Country Artists of the 21st Century — and he’s bringing his honky-tonk show to Meadville.

The Hits You Know

Joe Nichols’ catalog is packed with songs that have defined country radio for two decades. Expect to hear fan favorites including:

And his latest releases — High Notes (May 2026), Fighting the Good Fight (February 2026), and Goodbyes Are Hard to Listen To (October 2025) — teasers from his upcoming studio project, due in early 2027.

About Joe Nichols

Joe Nichols is a modern traditionalist with a sound that blurs the boundaries between country music’s past and present. A celebrated interpreter of Nashville’s finest songwriters, he’s shared the studio and stage with artists ranging from Dolly Parton to Post Malone.

His honors include:

  • 3 GRAMMY nominations
  • CMA Award winner
  • ACM Award winner
  • CMT Music Award winner
  • Emmy Award for the PBS tribute special Still Playin’ Possum: Music & Memories of George Jones
  • New York Times “Best Albums of the Year” recognition
  • Member of the Pandora Billionaires Club (1+ billion streams on the platform)

Nichols has appeared on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The View, Entertainment Tonight, Conan, Austin City Limits, and ACM Presents: Superstar Duets on CBS. He guest-starred on ABC’s hit drama Nashville and made his big-screen debut in the 2022 feature film Murder at Yellowstone City. His 2026 tour calendar includes a series of shows with country legend Hank Williams Jr.

Giving Back: Home Run for Hope

Beyond the stage, Joe Nichols recently launched Home Run for Hope, a campaign to build Nashville’s first inclusive baseball field for children with special needs. Inspired by his 2022 single “Home Run,” the project is raising the estimated $1.5 million needed to convert an existing field into an ADA-compliant “flexible field.” The cause is personal — Nichols’ sister, who lives with Down Syndrome, grew up playing softball, as does his daughter today.

Artist Spotlight: Travis Bolt

Get ready, Crawford County! We are bringing one of the most exciting, authentic new voices in country music straight from the heart of Texas to our main stage.

If you love raw storytelling, gritty guitar riffs, and a voice that packs a soulful punch, you cannot miss Travis Bolt. Fresh off the release of his highly anticipated debut album, Burning Bridges, Travis is bringing his powerhouse Texas country-rock sound right to our community.

Get to Know His Sound

Before he takes the stage, check out the music that has everyone talking. Travis blends traditional bluegrass roots with an urgent rock-and-roll edge and a deep, bluesy vocal delivery.

Watch: “Never Tried Cocaine

With over 15 million streams, this is the breakout track that put Travis on the map and earned him a standing ovation at the legendary Ryman Auditorium.

Watch: “Blues At My Funeral

A fan favorite from his new album Burning Bridges, this track perfectly showcases his soulful, Texas-grit songwriting.

The Story Behind the Music: More Than Just a Show

What makes Travis Bolt truly special is his incredible personal journey. For Travis, music isn’t just a career—it’s his life-saving medicine.

  • Music as Medicine: Diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome as a child, Travis faced intense bullying growing up. He discovered early on that the moment he picked up a guitar and began to sing, his tics completely vanished. Today, he proudly partners with the Tourette Association of America to inspire kids facing similar challenges.

  • Barbecue & Bluegrass Roots: Travis grew up tagging along with his dad, an East Texas BBQ chef who cooked backstage for major Texas music festivals. While his dad smoked brisket, young Travis soaked up the sounds of Texas country legends. Later, his grandparents took him to bluegrass festivals, where he learned to play by ear from old-school picking circles.

  • A Voice for Good: Travis is as passionate about helping others as he is about music. He partnered with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) for his single “Seasons,” donating the song’s royalties to help fund mental health resources.

When you see Travis on stage, you aren’t just watching a concert—you are witnessing a man living out his true calling.

Local Favorite Dan Baney

We love our national touring acts, but the Crawford County Fair wouldn’t be complete without celebrating the incredible talent right here in our own backyard! To kick off the night, we are thrilled to welcome Meadville-area favorite Dan Baney for a special solo acoustic opening set.

Known across Northwest Pennsylvania for his easygoing country charm and powerful vocals, Dan will be taking the stage with just his guitar and a microphone. He’ll be setting the perfect fairground vibe with an intimate acoustic blend of your favorite Top 40 country hits, classic rock throwbacks, and his own blue-collar original songs.

Come out early, grab a bite of fair food, and let’s show one of Crawford County’s favorite homegrown country artists some massive local support!
