Born and raised in the rugged mountains of Colorado, Laramy was immersed in the old-world skills of survival from a very young age. Under the watchful eyes of his grandfather and uncles, he learned the art of trapping, hunting, and living off the land with little more than a knife as his tool.

Today, Laramy stands as a towering figure not only in stature—measuring an impressive 6’7″ tall and weighing 270 pounds—but also in the world of outdoor and survival enthusiasts. He hosts two acclaimed television shows: “The Trail” on the Outdoor Channel and “Last of a Breed” on the Sportsman Channel. These programs showcase his journeys into uncharted territories, where he dons homemade buckskins and a hand-crafted longbow, demonstrating his unparalleled survival skills.

Laramy’s approach is unique in today’s high-tech world. He relies on techniques that have been passed down through generations, living as our ancestors did over a century ago. This deep connection to traditional methods is not just about survival; it’s about maintaining a way of life that honors and preserves the legacy of the mountain men who came before him.

Off the screen, Laramy’s presence is just as commanding. Despite his formidable appearance and survival prowess, he is known for his approachable demeanor and signature smile, making him a beloved figure both in and out of the wild.

Whether braving the elements in remote wilderness or sharing his knowledge and stories, Laramy “Sasquatch” Miller continues to inspire and educate those eager to learn about the true essence of being a mountain man in the modern age.
